Responsibility
of converting balcony into mini auditorium would need
to be taken by the Agency, which recommends this usage. |
For
conversion to a mini auditorium, the balcony would require
an extension of the floor. The bidders are expected
to visit the project site and make their own independent
assessment of the stability of such extension. Development
of architectural cross section of the balcony should
be a part of the Technical Proposal of the bidders.
There
is no mandatory change in the structural slope of the
balcony. The slope of the sitting area would therefore
be left to the bidders and would need to be indicated
in Technical Proposal.
No
studies have been conducted to test the stability/strength
of existing balcony. Bidders may make their own independent
studies in this regard. |
