Time Limit-For Submission	To file objection against the Land acquisition proceedings The interested parties can file objection within 30 days on receipt of the 4(a) notice to the land acquisition officer.  In case the land is acquired under urgency clause there is no provision to file objection against LA proceedings
Time Limit - For issue	The District Collector shall make award within a period of three years from the date of publication of 4(1) notification compensation will be disbursed after passing the award day onwards interested person in the acquired land is eligible for compensation From the date of 4(1) notification

Approval Procedure	Publication of 6(1) notification under the survey and boundaries act and publication of 4(1) notification under LA Act in two local dailies and in the Kerala Gazette, comprising the distrct Taluk, Village, Survey No, and approximate area of the land proposed for acquisition are the priliminary procedure of land acquisition
Exclusions
Special Conditions	The Distrct Collector, or other officers specially authorised is empowered for this purpose under the LA act. Yes, if the balance land left after LA proceedings remained useless t the owner for any purpose.
Appellate Authority	To file Objection with respect to inadequate compensation. Objection with respect to inadequate compensation shall be made before the concerned Land Acquisition Officer within six weeks of the eceipt of the notice from the Land Acquisition Officer under sec. 12 or within six months from the date of award which ever shall first expire
