Entegramam (My Village)- This programme which is being implemented with UNESCO's assistance envisages to provide every gram panchayats in the state with their own web portals in Malayalam language. Each web portal covers detailed information of the Panchayat.

The pilot project is implemented in Kannur through Akshaya, which is a state government IT initiative that provides internet access in remote areas of the state. UNESCO is fully funding the pilot project besides supporting the portal design, technical assistance, training and research.

The portals enlist the services provided by the Local Self Government Institution, farm information, list of enterprises and the products manufactured by them, employment opportunities available in the locality, and information on availability of labour, local history, information about prominent individuals, organisations, institutions, places of special interest in the area and local programmes.

Objectives

• To build portal for panchayats with locally relevant information in local language through local community participation.
• To convert the portal into a forum of community interaction.
• To empower the local community to use the web portal and start contributing to the portal.
• To create web based services which are of commercial or social interest.
