Rehabilitation Plantations Ltd., a Government of Kerala and  Government of India undertaking, is a major producer of natural rubber and manufacturers of rubber based products since 1976.  The company owns 2070 hectares  of  estates   and   three factories.

This ISO 9001:2000 company has been started on the formulation of rubber plantation scheme in 1972 for the settlement of Sri Lankan repatriates. The scheme has been enacted  on the  basis of Sirimao-Sastri Agreement of 1964.
