PRIYADARSINI PLANETARIUM
This is one of the most sophisticated and versatile planetaria in India. The main GM - II star field projector can project almost all the constituents of the visible universe. Also it can simulate the star studded night sky over any location, on the Earth on any day upto 12500 years back or 12500 years in future. Planetarium reveals the wonder world of astronomy, staggering distance from the outer space is eliminated and here before your eyes, is displayed the exciting universe.

How much do we know about our closest neighbours in space - the moon, other planets like venus and mars, asteroids and the Sun ? And perhaps more intriguing how much we do not know? Planetarium reveals you the f act that the stars twinkle as they may, are far from being little, contrary to nursery rhymes. You may wonder to know that the big Sun is nothing but a star - one among the billions of such in the galaxy and billions of galaxies form the universe. After viewing a glimpse of conditions of other planets, you can see the fragile balance that allowed the life to develop here on the planet Earth. See how our ability to gather data has entered a new era, since space crafts began to explore solar system. Would outer space be a nice place to colonise or establish human settlements, sometimes in the future ? See the exciting phase...
