Objectives
Centre
for Taxation Studies is a non-profit making autonomous institution
formed by the Government of Kerala in 1992 to promote and
undertake research, training, consultancy and publication
in the field of Public Finance, Taxation Law, Management
and Accounting.
The main objectives of the Centre are :
- Research
in the areas of public finance, fiscal policy and taxation
laws.
- Specialized
training for tax officials and professionals
- Dissemination
of knowledge regarding taxation among the business community
and public
- Publication
of research papers, journals and books
- Consultancy
services in taxation and allied subjects
- Organizing
Seminars and Conferences on current issues of taxation
and allied areas.
