Organisational set up of the Survey & Land Records Department

The Present Survey & Land Records Department was formed by integrating the Staff allotted from formerly Madras State, Cochin State and Travancore State, under a Director of Survey & Land Records from 1.11.1956. On 31.1.1977, the post of Director of Survey & Land Records was converted in to IAS Cadre and then Director was posted as Additional Director.
