In continuation of the reference cited, I am to inform you that independent tests by the Management are not permissible as per the directions of the Supreme Court Judgement dt. 14.8.03 in the Islamic Academy of Education and another Vs State of Karnataka and others.  Hence the institutions have to opt for the Common Entrance Test conducted either by the Government or a Common Entrance Test conducted by a consortium of the managements of all unaided institutions in the technical or medical education sector as the case may be.  The revised option may be furnished within 3 days.
