Exposure Draft on "Guarantees Given by Governments"

          The Government Accounting Standards Advisory Board (GASAB) has been entrusted to formulate and propose standards for improving the usefulness of financial reports of the Union and State Governments, on the basis of the needs of the financial report users. Pursuant to this GASAB has issued an Exposure Draft on the proposed Government Accounting standard on "Guarantees given by Government". The exposure draft can be accessed on the web site:
