Admission
ADMISSION
IN GOVERNMENT ITIs
Admission is purely on merit and 100% roster is open to
all those satisfy the following
General
| Must
be a native /domicile of Kerala State. |
| |
| Age
between 15 to 25 years. |
| (for
SC/ ST candidate’s 5 years, for Ex-service personnel
15 years relaxation in Upper age limit) |
| |
Those
who failed in the private study of SSLC/10th
standard are not eligible for admission in
Craftsman Training
Scheme. |
| |
| Should
have a minimum pass in SSLC /10th for Matric
Trades. |
| |
| Should
have a minimum failed in SSLC/10th for
Non-Matric Trades. |
| |
| Should
have a
minimum in Pre-Degree for Computer
& DTP courses. |
| |
| Courses
commence on 1st of August in every year. |

SUBMISSION
OF APPLICATION FORM
| Separate
Application must be submitted for each course
i.e. Matric, Non-Matric, Computer, Secretarial
Practice, Stenography (English), Stenography (Hindi)
in the prescribed application form.
The application must be sent to the concerned
ITIs, where admission is sought, on or before
the closing date. |

cover containing the application shall be
super scribed with category. (viz, Matric

/Stenography / Secretarial Practice).

| 2. |
Self
attested copies of the certificate, proving
age, date of birth, etc., must be attached
with the |

application.

| |

| 3. |
Those
who apply for Non - Matric trade must enter
the marks of SSC / SSLC last attended.
|

|
| 4. |
Application
shall be signed by both the applicant and
the guardian.
|
| |
|
| 5. |
Any
correction in the application shall be attested
by the applicant.
|
| |
|
| 6. |
Trades
like Wireman, Mechanic, (Tractor), Mechanic
(diesel) are not recommended for girls. |
APPLICATION
FORMS
| Can
be had from any government ITI in the
station on payment of prescribed fee.
The notification for admission
will be issued by the department from
time to time. |
