Every one accepts the fact that Kerala has immense potential in the areas like education, healthcare, literacy, tourism etc; suggests that these strength are to be translated into growth energies. In the area of infrastructure development, Kerala is well ahead of most of the states in India.

          The primary requisites for for industrialization are infrastructure facilities, capital resources. Government of Kerala and various agencies under IT have cleared the hurdles for establishing infrastructure facilities in the state. There already exist in the state excellent communication facilities, with telecommunication facility available in every odd village in Kerala. Air-ports, all weather sea port, rail and road network, quality power at reasonable rate, water- -every thing Kerala has got. Added to these is the skilled, efficient manpower available.

         On the part of the Government, all efforts will be taken to attract capital investment from with in the country and from abroad. With this in view, Government of Kerala is trying to bring to the notice of the prospective investors that there exist all infrastructure facilities and an atmosphere conducive to the development of industries in the state. And to convey the message that the Government means business, Government of Kerala have publicized its Industrial, Information Technology and Labour Policies
